Hi there—I’m Bobby Hinson, a UX strategist and product design leader with over 25 years of experience helping organizations create digital products that align user needs, business goals, and technical realities. I started my career in the early days of the dotcom boom, working as a web designer in a high-volume production shop, and over the years, I’ve worn many hats: graphic designer, web developer, UX architect, creative director, and technical director.
Along the way, I’ve led design and development teams, tackled complex challenges in fintech, healthcare, ecommerce, supply chain, and manufacturing, and contributed to projects for major companies like Apple, AT&T, The Cleveland Cavaliers, Comcast, LexisNexis, and Medtronic.
In 2025, I founded Propulsion UX to make my deep experience and no-nonsense approach to user experience more accessible to more teams. My philosophy is simple: UX isn’t just about users—it’s about aligning what users need with what the business needs and what’s technically possible. When those three elements are in balance, products work better for everyone.
